Summary of CCS Decision that Appeal Relates:
 
On 28 March 2013, the Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS) issued an Infringement Decision against 12 motor vehicle traders for contravening Section 34 of the Competition Act (Cap.50B) (the "Act"), by engaging in an anti-competitive agreement to suppress bids at public auctions of motor vehicles over a period of three years from January 2008 to March 2011.
 
CCS found that the Appellant had engaged in an agreement to bid-rig at physical auctions of motor vehicles conducted by various government agencies.
 
The financial penalty imposed on the Appellant was S$8,000.
