There are altogether nine statutory boards and two government departments under the Ministry’s purview.

Our statutory boards are: Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Economic Development Board (EDB), Enterprise Singapore, JTC Corporation (JTC), Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCS), Energy Market Authority (EMA), Hotels Licensing Board (HLB) and Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC). The scope of their work comprises driving research and innovation, forging a progressive energy landscape, promotion of local enterprises and the development of our tourism sector, among others.

Our government departments are: Singapore Department of Statistics (DOS) and the National Space Agency of Singapore (NSAS). As the National Statistical Office, DOS delivers statistics and statistical services to empower decision making. NSAS will lead Singapore’s national space ambitions to be a leader in space technologies and a credible contributor to the global space ecosystem.
