Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong attended a series of Special ASEAN Economic Ministers’ (AEM) Consultations with Dialogue Partners (DPs) on 20 May 2025. Hosted virtually by Malaysia’s Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz as AEM Chair, the consultations included China, Japan, as well as Australia and New Zealand under the AEM-Closer Economic Relations (CER) platform.
