Press Release | 25 APR 2022 Consumer Price Developments in March 2022 Consumer Price Developments in March 2022 Summary MAS Core Inflation rose to 2.9% on a year-on-year (y-o-y) basis in March 2022, from 2.2% in February. This was driven by higher inflation for food and services. CPI-All Items inflation rose to 5.4% y-o-y in March, from 4.3% in the preceding month. In addition to the pickup in core inflation, private transport and accommodation inflation also came in higher. On a month-on-month (m-o-m) basis, core CPI and CPI-All Items increased by 0.7% and 1.2% respectively in March. Please click here for the full press release.
