SENIOR MINISTER OF STATE FOR TRADE & INDUSTRY AND EDUCATION MR S ISWARAN TO ATTEND THE 13TH ASEAN TOURISM MINISTERS' MEETING IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, 24 – 25 JANUARY 2010
The ATM-M will review ASEAN's progress in regional tourism cooperation. Amongst other things, ASEAN Tourism Ministers will discuss the draft ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan 2011-2015, an important document that will chart the sector's direction for the next 5 years. In addition, ASEAN Tourism Ministers will also be presenting the 2010 ASEAN Green Hotels Recognition Award to representatives of their hospitality industry. A total of 16 Singapore hotels have qualified for the Awards.
