Mr Chua Kheng Wee Louis: To ask the Minister for Trade and Industry whether the Department of Statistics will consider tracking Consumer Price Index changes by different income groups.

Written Answer by Minister of State for Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling

1. The Department of Statistics (DOS) already publishes data on Consumer Price Index changes for the lowest 20%, middle 60% and highest 20% household income groups on a half-yearly basis. The data can be found on DOS’ website.
