Mr Zainal Sapari: To ask the Minister for Trade and Industry (a) what is the annual revenue generated by the private security sector from 2015 to 2019; (b) what is the value add (VA) per worker for the same period; and (c) what is the total industry revenue of security technology firms for 2018 and 2019.

2 Between 2015 and 2018, the revenue of the private security industry averaged $2.2 billion per year, while its nominal value-added (VA) per worker averaged $38,300 per year (refer to Table 1). The total revenue of the security technology industry was $651 million in 2018.
