SMS Chee Hong Tat visits Myanmar to deepen economic ties

1. Senior Minister of State for Trade & Industry and Education Chee Hong Tat is visiting Myanmar from 14 to 17 March 2019 to reaffirm and deepen the close bilateral and economic ties between Singapore and Myanmar. While in Yangon and Mandalay, Mr Chee met with Myanmar Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Win Khaing, Yangon Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein, Mandalay Chief Minister Dr Zaw Myint Maung and Mandalay Mayor Dr Ye Lwin. They exchanged views on new developments in Yangon and Mandalay and discussed ways to further economic cooperation.
