Singapore’s GDP Grew by 4.3 Per Cent in the Fourth Quarter of 2024 and by 4.0 Per Cent in 2024

2 January 2025. Based on advance estimates, the Singapore economy grew by 4.3 per cent on a year-on-year basis in the fourth quarter of 2024, slower than the 5.4 per cent growth in the previous quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter seasonally-adjusted basis, the economy expanded by 0.1 per cent, moderating from the 3.2 per cent expansion in the third quarter. For the whole of 2024, the economy grew by 4.0 per cent, faster than the 1.1 per cent growth in 2023.
