SINGAPORE DELIVERS PHASE ONE MASTER PLAN TO ANDHRA PRADESH GOVERNMENT

Singapore delivered Phase 1 of the Master Plan for Andhra Pradesh’s new Capital City to the Andhra Pradesh (AP) government during Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Singapore from 30 to 31 March 2015. The 7,325 km2 Capital Region Plan is the first of a three-stage master plan1 for the Capital City, on which Singapore is working in partnership with Andhra Pradesh under a Memorandum of Understanding signed on 8 December 2014. Surbana International Consultants and Jurong Consultants are the master planners for the project.
