SINGAPORE AND THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES BOOST BILATERAL TIES WITH THE SIGNING OF INVESTMENT GUARANTEE AGREEMENT

Bilateral business and investment relations between Singapore and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were boosted today with the signing of an Investment Guarantee Agreement (IGA). The Agreement was signed today by Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development, Lee Yi Shyan and His Excellency (H.E.) Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs. H.E. Al Tayer called on Mr Lee Yi Shyan prior to the signing of the IGA and was also hosted to a lunch by Mr Lee. During his visit, H.E Al Tayer will attend briefings hosted by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Central Provident Fund Board (CPFB).
