SINGAPORE & CHONGQING SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDE
FIRST JOINT IMPLEMENTATION COMMITTEE MEETING FOR
CHONGQING CONNECTIVITY INITIATIVE (CCI)
1. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Chan Chun Sing concluded a visit to Chongqing on 8 January 2016 to discuss next steps for implementation of the Chongqing Connectivity Initiative1 (CCI). This is the first high-level meeting between Singapore and Chongqing since the launch of the third Government-to-Government (G-to-G) project during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s State Visit to Singapore in November 2015.
