Singapore and Australia launch negotiations on digital economy agreement

1. Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing and Australian Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment Simon Birmingham jointly announced the launch of negotiations on a new Singapore-Australia Digital Economy Agreement (DEA) today, on the sidelines of the 9th Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Ministerial Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand.
