Speech by Mr S Iswaran Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry, during the Committee of Supply Debate under Head V (Ministry of Trade and Industry) on 8 March 2010

Thank you Mr Chairman. First, I would like to thank Members for the wide  range of issues that they have raised. My Minister has set out MTI’s overall strategy to take advantage of growth opportunities as our economy recovers. I will
supplement his response by addressing specific questions that Members have raised by relating to three broad areas – tourism, energy, and research and development.
