Release of Advance GDP Estimates for Third Quarter 2017

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) will release the advance GDP estimates[1] for the third quarter of 2017 on 13 October 2017 (Friday), at 8.00 a.m.. The press release will be available on the websites of MTI (

[1] The advance GDP estimates for the third quarter of 2017 are computed largely from data in the first two months of the quarter (i.e. July and August 2017).  They are intended as an early indication of the GDP growth in the quarter, and may be revised when more comprehensive data become available. Due to incomplete data, disaggregated advance GDP estimates will be available for the manufacturing, construction and services producing industries only.
