RELEASE OF ADVANCE GDP ESTIMATES FORTHIRD QUARTER 2016
The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) will release the advance GDP estimates[1] for the third quarter of 2016 on 14 October 2016 (Friday), at 8.00 a.m.. The press release will be available on the websites of MTI (http://www.mti.gov.sg), the Singapore Department of Statistics (http://www.singstat.gov.sg) and the SG Press Centre (https://www.sgpc.gov.sg/).

[1] The advance GDP estimates for the third quarter of 2016 are computed largely from data in the first two months of the quarter (i.e. July and August 2016). They are intended as an early indication of the GDP growth in the quarter, and may be revised when more comprehensive data become available. Due to incomplete data, disaggregated advance GDP estimates will be available for the manufacturing, construction and services producing industries only.
