Release of Advance GDP Estimates for Fourth Quarter 2015

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) will release the advance GDP estimates[1] for the fourth quarter and the whole year of 2015 on 4 January 2016 (Monday), at 8.00 a.m.. The press release will be available on the websites of MTI (http://www.mti.gov.sg), the Department of Statistics (http://www.singstat.gov.sg) and the SG Press Centre (https://www.sgpc.gov.sg/).

[1] The advance GDP estimates for the fourth quarter of 2015 are computed largely from data in the first two months of the quarter (i.e. October and November 2015). They are intended as an early indication of the GDP growth in the quarter, and may be revised when more comprehensive data become available. Due to incomplete data, disaggregated advance GDP estimates will be available for the manufacturing, construction and services producing industries only.
