Press Release on the 16th 6WG MM in Jakarta

The 16th Singapore-Indonesia Six Bilateral Economic Working Groups Ministerial Meeting (6WG MM) was held in Indonesia, Jakarta on 9 June 2026. The meeting was cochaired by Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong and Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto.

At the meeting, both Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen bilateral economic ties between Singapore and Indonesia amid global uncertainties and announced their intent on strengthening cooperation in supply chain resilience.
