New Appointees for SPRING Singapore Board

NEW APPOINTEES FOR SPRING SINGAPORE BOARD
The Minister for Trade and Industry has appointed four new members to the Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING Singapore). The appointments take effect from 1 April 2006.
The new members are:
Mr Gong Wee Lik-Deputy Managing Director, Cluster Development & Corporate Services, EDB
Mr Lawrence Leow-Executive Chairman, Crescendas Group
BG Wong Ann Chai -Chief Armour Officer, MINDEF
Mr Lim Boon Wee – Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Transport

Four members have been re-appointed for another two-year term.They are:
Mr Inderjit Singh - CEO, Infiniti Solutions Pte Ltd
Mr Willey Cheng - Chairman, Science Centre Board
Mr Tan Kian Chew - CEO, NTUC FairPrice
Mr Yeo Guat Kuang - Director of Quality Lifestyle, NTUC
Four Board members have stepped down from the SPRING Singapore Board, with effect from 31 March 2006:
Ms Jennie Chua-President & CEO Raffles Holdings Ltd
Ms Olivia Lum-Group CEO and President, Hyflux Ltd
Mr Chua Taik Him -Assistant MD (Enterprise Ecosystem & Planning), EDB
Mr Soh Poh Theen-Director, National Security Coordination Centre, PMO
The Ministry of Trade and Industry and SPRING Singapore welcome the four new Board members and also express their appreciation to the four out-going Board members for their invaluable contributions to SPRING Singapore.
SPRING Singapore’s Board of Directors comprises a Chairman and 17 other members. The current list may be found at Annex B [PDF, 13 KB].
