Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Lim Hng Kiang will be attending the APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) Meeting and related meetings in Kazan, Russia from 4 to 5 June 2012. At the MRT Meeting, Mr Lim will meet with key public sector representatives from the Asia Pacific region. They will discuss matters according to the priority areas outlined by Russia, the current APEC Chair. These areas include trade and investment liberalisation, regional economic integration, strengthening food security, establishing reliable supply chains, and intensifying cooperation to foster innovative growth.
