Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong meets United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai

Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong met United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today, during her visit to Singapore. They reaffirmed the strong and longstanding economic relationship between Singapore and the US, and recognised that the US-Singapore Free Trade Agreement remains a high performing and mutually beneficial agreement for Singapore and US businesses and workers. Mr Gan and Ms Tai also agreed to continue working together to advance the US’ Indo-Pacific Economic Framework and its economic engagement of the region. Both sides had substantive discussions on strengthening bilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest such as the digital and green economies.
