Mike Barclay to step down as Chief Executive of Sentosa Development Corporation

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) today announced that Mr Mike Barclay, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), will be returning to the private sector after completing his 7-year tenure at SDC on 30 September 2015. The new CEO will be announced in due course. In the interim, Mr Low Tien Sio, Deputy CEO of SDC, will be the Acting CEO from 1 October 2015.


Mr Mike Barclay joined SDC as the CEO in 2008, and was re-appointed for another two year-term in 2013. Under his stewardship, SDC developed a strategic business framework that charted the direction for Sentosa to be a leading leisure destination with a sustainable value proposition.
