LIM HNG KIANG TO ATTEND THE APEC MINISTERS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRADE MEETING, BORACAY, PHILIPPINES, 22 – 23 MAY 2015
Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang will attend the APEC Ministers Responsible for Trade (MRT) Meeting and related meetings in Boracay, Philippines, from 22 to 23 May 2015.
The theme set out by the Philippines, as the APEC chair this year, is “Building inclusive economies, building a better world”. At the MRT Meeting, Trade Ministers will discuss issues related to (i) enhancing regional economic integration; (ii) fostering SMEs’ participation in the regional and global economy; (iii) investing in human capital development; and (iv) building sustainable and resilient communities.
