Future Tense is a publication by MTI’s Futures Group (FG). FG scans for emerging issues that could transform Singapore’s economy, generating insights to inform policymakers. This fourth edition of Future Tense collects FG’s work over 2016.
In addition to our deep-dives on emerging issues, there are three special sections. “FG Conversations” highlights ideas from thought leaders FG met to gather insights on how Singapore should design its future success, while “Asian Frontiers” looks at how Asian economies across East and Southeast Asia are overcoming the challenges of demographic change, industry transformation and energy insecurity. Finally, we celebrated our 10th anniversary in 2016, and are honoured to share reflections by management and alumni who have contributed to the success of FG over the years in “FG at 10”.
