Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong made a working visit to Mumbai, Maharashtra on 12 August 2025. He visited two significant investments by Singapore companies – PSA’s Bharat Mumbai Container Terminal (PSA Mumbai) Phase 2 and CapitaLand Investment’s (CLI) new Data Centre in Navi Mumbai. These investments underscore the growing bilateral economic partnership between Singapore and India, and Singapore’s confidence in India’s long term economic trajectory. DPM Gan was accompanied by Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance Jeffrey Siow.
