Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry (Trade) Gan Kim Yong will visit Manila, the Philippines, from 19 to 22 September 2026 to attend the 58th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ (AEM) Meeting and Related Meetings.

Discussions will focus on ways to deepen ASEAN’s economic integration and strengthen the region’s resilience and competitiveness amidst global economic uncertainties.
