Consumer Price Developments in July 2026

Summary
MAS Core Inflation increased to 2.0% year-on-year (y-o-y) in July, from 1.6% in June.
This was because of higher inflation for electricity & gas, services and food.
On a month-on-month (m-o-m) basis, core prices rose by 0.3% in July.
CPI-All Items inflation picked up to 2.2% y-o-y in July, from 1.9% in June.
This was due to an increase in accommodation inflation alongside higher core inflation.
On a m-o-m basis, CPI-All Items fell by 0.2% in July.
