Consumer Price Developments in February 2013
Singapore’s CPI-All Items inflation came in higher at 4.9% y-o-y in February. CPI-All Items inflation rose to 4.9% in February from 3.6% in January 2013. This temporary pickup had been anticipated in the January Inflation Report and was largely attributed to the more significant increase in private road transport cost. Food and services inflation were also stronger during the month.
