ASEAN-Wide Self-Certification Scheme comes into effect on 20 September 2020

The ten ASEAN Member States signed the First Protocol to amend the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) to implement the ASEAN-Wide Self-Certification (AWSC) Scheme on 22 January 2019. The First Protocol has since been ratified by all ten ASEAN Member States and will take effect on 20 September 2020.
