Singapore and Poland agree to strengthen economic cooperation and connectivity to tackle COVID-19

1.       Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing had a videoconference with Republic of Poland Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development Jadwiga Emilewicz today. Both parties affirmed their commitment to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation in the combat against COVID-19. They also issued a Joint Ministerial Statement on their intent to enhance connectivity between the two economies by expediting the flow of essential goods, including food and agricultural products, and ensuring that trade lines such as air and sea freight, are open, efficient and effective.
