Singapore’s GDP Grew by 0.1 Per Cent in the Second Quarter of 2019

12 July 2019. Based on advance estimates, the Singapore economy grew by 0.1 per cent on a year-on-year basis in the second quarter of 2019, slower than the 1.1 per cent growth in the previous quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter seasonally-adjusted annualised basis, the economy shrank by 3.4 per cent, after posting growth of 3.8 per cent in the preceding quarter.
