1. Will there be a physical meeting arranged for the clinic?

The feedback will be channelled to the PEP Secretariat* who will work with you on understanding your concerns before scheduling a meet-up.

*The PEP Secretariat supports the Pro-Enterprise Panel (PEP) under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). It is a private-public panel chaired by the Head of Civil Service with mainly business leaders as members. PEP serves as an internal advocate for businesses within the government to enable a more pro-enterprise environment that facilitates the business growth and innovation. It works closely with public agencies to provide timely, effective and practical solutions to address the regulatory concerns that businesses face. Since its inception in 2000, more than 1,900 suggestions have been received where more than half of these have led to changes in rules or
regulatory processes.

2. Who will be present at the clinic to help me with my regulatory concerns?

The PEP Secretariat, together with our partner, will sit down with you and the relevant regulators to discuss your concerns!

3. What kind of regulatory concerns do you approach the clinic on?

Any regulatory issues hindering your business! E.g. business compliance costs, delays/onerous processes, outdated regulations.

4. Does the clinic only address cases from a specific industry?

No, we cover a wide range of cases from healthcare, transport, food, landscape industries and many more!

5. If my business idea covers one or more regulatory agencies, would there be a face-to-face meetup with all regulators?

The PEP Secretariat will assess the case and work with you to discuss the issue, bringing together the regulators where necessary.

6: If my business idea is at the proof-of-concept stage, would the clinic be able to help me highlight potential regulatory issues?
