The following partners collaborated with the PEP in 2021 to host clinics and industry engagement sessions to share how the PEP can support businesses in overcoming regulatory hurdles and providing space to explore new business ideas under the New Idea Scheme and the First Mover Framework respectively.
Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association |
||||
The Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) represents manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment, devices, and in-vitro diagnostics, industry associations and other key stakeholders associated with the medical technology industry in the Asia Pacific. Following our initial collaboration in 2021, APACMed initiated and dialled up industry outreach with the Pro-Enterprise Panel (PEP). Through hosting of in-person networking sessions, specific regulatory pain points faced by digital health start-ups and business as they seized opportunities and develop new medical solutions were uncovered. APACMed also regularly provides PEP with consolidated feedback from members on how agencies could better support the industry. |

As Singapore works towards achieving our food sustainability vision, organisations such as Feed 9 Billion play an important role. Together with PEP, Feed 9 Billion held the first in-person networking session with different agri-business archetypes ranging from insect farms to aquaculture to agriculture. NUS Enterprise |

The entrepreneurial arm of NUS, NUS Enterprise plays a pivotal role in advancing innovation, and entrepreneurship at NUS. Support includes experiential entrepreneurial education, active industry partnership, holistic entrepreneurship support, and catalytic entrepreneurship outreach. Moving into our second year of partnership, NUS Enterprise continues to be a strong supporter of PEP’s agenda by hosting clinic sessions for entrepreneurs under their programmes such as Pier 71. This allowed PEP to be better plugged into the local innovator and entrepreneur community to swiftly provide regulatory assistance. |
