The following partners collaborated with the PEP in 2021 to host clinics and industry engagement sessions to share how the PEP may support businesses in overcoming regulatory hurdles and providing space to explore new business ideas under the New Idea Scheme and the First Mover Framework respectively. In total, 5 such sessions have been held in 2021, attended by over 200 business, with more than 20 businesses who have benefitted from PEP support.

     
  Action Community for Entrepreneurship

The Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE) represents stakeholders in the Singapore start-up ecosystem. ACE has been the PEP’s partner in holding the PEP clinics since their inception in 2019. 12 businesses have benefitted from the PEP’s support to date through the clinic sessions. In 2021, ACE has organised one clinic with the PEP, and there are plans for a second clinic before the end of the year.
     
     

     
  Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association

The Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) represents manufacturers and suppliers of medical equipment, devices, and in-vitro diagnostics, industry associations and other key stakeholders associated with the medical technology industry in the Asia Pacific. This is the first year that APACMed is collaborating with the PEP to organise a webinar for its startup and SME community to familiarise members with the support that the PEP is able to provide.
      
     

     
  NUS Enterprise

The entrepreneurial arm of NUS, NUS Enterprise plays a pivotal role in advancing innovation, and entrepreneurship at NUS. Support includes experiential entrepreneurial education, active industry partnership, holistic entrepreneurship support, and catalytic entrepreneurship outreach. This is the first year that NUS Enterprise is collaborating with the PEP to organise a webinar for its members. To date, 16 businesses have benefitted from the PEP’s support to date through the clinic session.
      
     

     
  NTUitive

NTUitive is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTU, managing the university’s intellectual property, promoting innovation, supporting entrepreneurship, and facilitating the commercialisation of research.

This is the first year that NTUitive is collaborating with the PEP to organise a webinar for its members to familiarise them with the support that the PEP is able to provide.
